Where are you located?

Becky's Feathered Friends is located in North Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. 

Do you have any birds available for adoption?

Birds available will be listed under my available birds page. I will be adding birds that are ready for deposit or new homes daily. So please feel free to come back and look or join my mailing list. You can also follow my Instagram and Facebook page for updates and to follow what is breeding and being hand raised.

What are your prices?

How can I find out if new babies are available?

Which pairs are currently breeding and what babies are being hand raised will be posted on my Facebook page so feel free to follow me for updates. We only have a small supply of birds and they often sell quickly be sure to check in regularly or join my mailing list for updates.

Which bird is best for me?

Depending on what you are looking for in a bird and how much time you have to invest, not every bird may suit you. If you are unsure check out our guides on birds, their needs and personality to find a friend that suits you. still unsure feel free to contact us so we can help you find the best feathered friend to suit you.

Are your birds really tame?

our birds are raised by hand from 2-3 weeks of age. they grow up within the family, so they are used to everyday situations and noises. our birds are not forced to be tame by mutilating them or harshly clipping their wings. our birds are fully flighted upon pickup but can easily be cuddled and held. How long do you need to hand raise a bird?

A lot of time goes into hand raising baby birds and each baby weans at its own pace. smaller birds wean faster and are usually ready for their new home in 6 to 7 weeks. Larger birds like cockatiels and conures wean later at about 10 to 12 weeks. Some parrots take months to wean.

Is it possible to pick up items?

We currently only offer pickup. please text us with your order and we will contact you to work out a pickup time. If you are interested in postage for any of our items or birds, we would be happy to organise a quote for shipping.

What if something is sold out?

All our available products can be found in store. We offer only a small collection

of each product and cannot promise how fast they will be restocked.
