If you are looking for a feathered friend to keep you company, then you have come to the right place. We specialise in breeding and hand raising small to medium companion birds. Handraised Birds
We put a lot of time, love and effort into hand raising our baby birds to insure they feel completely comfortable around people. All our babies are hand raised in house and grow up in a family environment with lots of cuddles and other pets. They are used to everyday situations and noises while having plenty of time out of the cage.
We do not harshly clip wings or mutilate birds to force them to become tame. our birds are tame by choice and through daily handling while being hand raised. Their wings are only slightly clipped 3 to 4 flight feathers on each wing after they learn to fly, for easier handling and to help the bonding process with their new owner.
Food and Care
Our babies are hand raised- spoon/syringe fed from 2-3 weeks of age using Tropican/ neocare hand rearing formula and weekly added Passwell Multi-Vite and Vitafarm D-Nutrical for a healthy and strong growth.
All babies are weaned onto a healthy mixed diet of seed, fresh fruit & Vegetables, soak seed, quality pellets and crumbles to make it easier for
their new owner. All our adult birds are offered the same healthy variety of foods along with vitamins and supplements. All birds are regularly wormed and treated for mites and parasites.
After purchase Support
Your new baby bird will come home with a small starter pack of the food it has been eating to make the transition into its new home easier for you and your feathered friend. We also offer a variety of food and supplies through our store if needed.
Birds That are DNA tested will come with their DNA certificate with all details.
We want you and your bird to be happy and to form a good bond. That is why we offer tutorials, guides and after purchase support to help you through the bonding process and correct care of your bird. We also offer our online facebook group where you can chat and meet other bird lovers and share your photos and experiences.
